PWC-Config

PWC-Config is a user-friendly software with a graphical interface that has been designed to configure all Web cameras supported by the PWC driver. It offers support for a number of different cameras such as PCA645VC, PCA646VC, PCVC675K "Vesta", PCVC680K "Vesta Pro", PCVC690K "Vesta Scan", PCVC720K/40 "ToUCam XS", PCVC730K "ToUCam Fun", PCVC740K "ToUCam Pro", PCVC750K "ToUCam Scan", Askey VC010, Creative Labs Webcam 5, Creative Labs Webcam Pro Ex (this camera is soon to be supported), Logitech QuickCam 3000 Pro, Logitech QuickCam 4000 Pro, Logitech QuickCam Notebook Pro, Logitech QuickCam Zoom, Samsung MPC-C10 and MPC-C30, Sotec Afina Eye, Visionite VCS UM100, and UC300.

The installation process is quite simple. First, log in as your normal user, and type in "./configure make" in order to complete the installation of the software. Once the installation has completed, you will find the program in the src directory. For a more convenient way of accessing the software, you can choose to log in as 'root' and install the software in the /usr/local/bin/cam directory by typing "make install".
