Sesame

Sesame is an excellent file encryption software designed for people who want to encrypt their files in a quick and easy way. The software has been built in such a manner that it won't be visible or apparent when information is either hidden or opened. The designers of Sesame implemented two fundamental rules for file encryption. First, encrypted files look as if nothing happened to them. The file date and time are left unchanged, and the file icon is preserved in most cases. The only time the user can see a change is on the Sesame window where there will be a hanging padlock picture on the icons of encrypted files.

Second, the user has two options to start the program. They can either use a desktop shortcut or start menu items or start the program with a secret key combination. As with other encryption managers, encrypted files can be sent by e-mail, or transferred by any other means. However, only someone who has the Sesame program and knows the password can restore them to the initial state.

Sesame offers a range of convenient functionality features that come as standard. These include Copy/Paste, Create New, Delete and Open operations which are traditional for file managers. Overall, Sesame is an easy-to-use file encryption program that makes encrypting files fast and hassle-free.
