StaffCal is an electronic replacement for the traditional 'Staff in/out board'. It allows staff to update their activities during the day and view that of their colleagues. It is ideal for enterprise-wide use.

StaffCal makes life easier for receptionists by presenting all relevant information in one place, facilitating easy access to details like resource bookings for vehicles, rooms, and activities like meetings, optimally scheduled for efficient use of resources. To enhance effective scheduling, StaffCal groups objects (people for example) into logical blocks, such as all the people in Sales, or all the meeting rooms, all of which can be stored within StaffCal.
Permissions can be set on objects and groups to ensure appropriate access, such as allowing only you and your secretary to edit your appointments but restricting access from others. With the flexibility offered in StaffCal, you can allow only members of a specific group to view that group or salespeople to view each other’s appointments.
In case of emergencies such as an earthquake or fire, StaffCal allows you to print out a list of the current locations of staff members with just three mouse clicks. StaffCal uses client/server architecture, storing appointment data on the assigned server(s), with the StaffCal client on each user’s machine connecting to that server to access the appointment data.
