SwitchSniffer is a powerful program designed to scan your switched LAN for up hosts and collect all packets without the target users' recognition. Additionally, it can detect the 'arpspoofer' program running on the network and block user-definable sessions like firewall. When used in tandem with any sniffer program, users can capture and see the users' IDs and passwords on a switched network.
Some key features of SwitchSniffer include its ability to pull and collect all the packets on the LAN, scan and display active hosts on the LAN within a very short time, and act as another gateway (or IP-forwarder) without other users' recognition on the LAN. Users can also collect and forward packets by selecting inbound, outbound, and both to be sent to the internet, and an ARP table can be recovered automatically in a little time (about 30 seconds). The software can spoof continuously with a periodic time and scan and spoof by selecting one of many installed network interface cards.
SwitchSniffer can get traffic information about the amount of data transferred to and from the internet, including session information. The program can detect which computer is running an arpspoofer program on the local network, scan all hosts automatically on the network, and filter or block sessions, local hosts, and remote hosts. With this software, users can cure ARP-cache poisoning and find out the hidden hosts on the local area network.
SwitchSniffer also helps users protect their networks from abnormal users and identify abnormal packets on the local network. Plus, the software can view users/passwords, chat sessions, and web sessions, among other things, on the switch network by other applications.
