Sybperl

If you're a developer working with Sybase databases and searching for a Perl module to integrate with your workflow, Sybperl is a must-have. It's a comprehensive module that offers support for three Sybase extension modules and can be used with Perl version 5.002 or higher. 

Sybase::DBlib, one of the modules included in Sybperl, provides a subset of the Sybase DB-Library API. The Sybase::CTlib module, on the other hand, offers support for the Sybase CT-Library (also known as the Client Library) API. Finally, the Sybase::Sybperl module is designed to provide backwards compatibility (implemented on top of Sybase::DBlib) for scripts created using sybperl 1.0xx that need to be run on Perl 5.

While Sybase::Sybperl can be used in conjunction with Sybase::DBlib and Sybase::CTlib, it's important to remember that using all three modules in the same script may not work as expected.
