TV-Browser is an exceptional TV guide software that can be extended easily through a range of plugins. It is designed with a layout that mimics the traditional paper-based TV guide, and it comprises over 80 German language channels. While it is currently only capable of loading data in its unique binary format, it is possible to create a plugin that can load XMLTV data.
TV data can be obtained from several sources and can be downloaded from the software's servers after seamless processing. The entire project- server and client components- is licensed and distributed under the GNU GPL.
