Wippien is a messaging client with VPN integration, supporting various protocols including ICQ, MSN, AIM, Yahoo, and Google Talk. It enables users to create virtual private networks with peers.

One of the standout features of Wippien is the use of NAT traversal techniques, allowing you to penetrate NAT devices and establish direct connections between peers. Additionally, this tool offers access to your friend's resources such as system shares, printers, among others.
Wippien uses XMPP/Jabber protocol to find your friends and check their presence status. Afterward, it initiates direct peer-to-peer secured connections with them. Another impressive feature is that none of the peers need to know the real IP address of the other peer since Wippien assigns a temporary one for the session lifetime.
In case your friends don't use Wippien, you can still utilize Wippien as an excellent instant messaging client. Overall, Wippien ticks all the boxes and is an excellent utility to have.
