A new and modern theme has been designed for GNOME users with a pixel-based style. It offers a fresh look to the interface.
Dark Grey '72 is a modern and recently developed GTK theme designed specifically for the GNOME desktop environment. The package contains various elements, including GTK and Metacity themes, as well as an icon for the menu button which can be found in the directory .../Gtk2.0/Panel.
The installation process for this theme is incredibly simple and fast. It involves right-clicking on your desktop and selecting Change Desktop Background, proceeding to the Theme tab, and dragging and dropping the theme's archive into the Appearance Preferences window. Upon successfully completing these steps, you will receive a confirmation message and be able to activate the theme on your desktop simply by clicking on it.
