3DM Export is a Solid Edge plug-in which exports 3D solid and surface data from a Solid Edge document to 3D polygon meshes in a 3DM file. It is compatible with Rhinoceros inputs (.3dm).

With 3DM Export for Solid Edge, you can easily tessellate solid bodies in your Solid Edge document and convert them into triangular meshes. These meshes can then be exported as mesh objects in a 3DM file, which can be opened in a variety of CAD applications.
This add-in is also very user-friendly. Once you've installed it, it will automatically load itself into Solid Edge and add a new submenu to the Applications menu. This submenu includes commands for exporting meshes, accessing help files, registering your copy, and learning more about the software.
If you need more guidance, 3DM Export for Solid Edge comes with detailed documentation for each command, as well as a tutorial to help you get started quickly.
Finally, it's worth noting that the 3DM file format is the native file format of Rhinoceros, the NURBS modeling software from Robert McNeel & Associates. The OpenNURBS Initiative was established specifically to help users transfer 3D geometry between different applications via the 3DM file format. Therefore, if you're already familiar with this format, you may find 3DM Export for Solid Edge to be an especially useful tool.
