A free report measures the number of autocomplete entries in NK2, DAT, or XML files. A detailed report provides complete data on autocomplete.

That's where this report comes in. By analyzing the Auto-Complete List files in Outlook, you can restore some addresses even if you've lost all other contact information. With this report, you can get a list of contacts, names and email addresses from the Auto-Complete List files. In Outlook 2007 and below, Auto-Complete Lists are stored in NK2 files. In Outlook 2010 and higher, Auto-Complete Lists are stored in mailboxes and PST files, and in the DAT files for compatibility with older applications.
The report has two modes. The first shows the number of items in the AutoComplete files found in the standard Outlook data folder. The second, more detailed mode displays all contacts stored in each file. It shows name, email (including X.500), and other fields for each contact. You can save the report to a CSV file and then open it for viewing in Excel.
If you're comfortable with the command line, you can also get contacts from AutoComplete cache files that are available on the local network. By writing the required scripts and batch files to automate the process, you can save time and increase productivity.
Overall, I highly recommend this report for anyone who relies heavily on their Outlook contacts. It's easy to use, provides valuable information, and can be a lifesaver in case of lost data.
