Check Writer III is an easy to use check printing application for your PC. With this software, you can directly print checks from your computer. Simply enter the order (payee) and the dollar amount and Check Writer III will automatically generate the word amount, so you don't have to worry about spelling it out.

One of the best features of Check Writer III is the ability to support multiple accounts. You can also print deposit slips and drop a picture of your signature onto Check Writer III, and it will sign your checks automatically. The elements of the check can also be moved to perfectly fit your needs, and you can decide which elements will be printed.

Check Writer III allows you to add up to 9 pictures to your checks for elaborate layouts. You can add your own photos as a background and print as many blank checks as you want to use them like regular checkbooks. The software also includes a built-in electronic record book (Register) to keep track of all your expenses and deposits. The balance is calculated automatically, making it easy to reconcile with your bank statement just as you would with a paper record book.

Check Writer III also allows you to save and load data and settings to use different accounts. You can set different fonts to print your name and print checks on regular letter-size paper, plain white or color, as well as on professional looking check refill paper available from fine office supply stores.

The software uses extremely accurate MICR E13B technology to print special characters at the bottom of checks so they are recognized by bank processing. MICR Toner (magnetic ink) is supported for any serious check printing, to comply with the American Banking Association MICR E13B standard. MICR E13B printing complies with ANSI X9.27-1995, ANSI X9.100-160-1-2009, and Canadian CPA006 standards.

In addition, the height of checks can be set in Preferences to accommodate non-standard pre-printed paper. Printing can also be nudged horizontally and vertically very precisely in 1/72nd inches. Check Writer III can be used on a Windows tablet, making it incredibly convenient and portable.
