Claude is a Text-to-Speech software that works with MSAgent and SSML 1.0. It automatically fixes MSAgent's absence in newer versions of Windows and restores 40 Characters to their default location. Compatible with various file formats like HTML, RTF, DOC, DOCX, TXT, XML.
I recently had the opportunity to try out Claude, a Text-To-Speech program that supports various Windows operating systems including XP, Vista, 7, 8, 8.1, and 10. One of the biggest selling points of Claude is that it requires no additional system requirements to function.
The program has an intuitive and simple interface, making it easy for users to navigate. One of the primary goals of Claude is to preserve MS Agent technology, which is only found in older operating systems before Windows 7. In addition, some character design studios who created content for MS Agent no longer exist, making it impossible to access those characters without the help of a program like Claude.
Fortunately, Claude can automatically fix the absence of MSAgent in newer operating systems (Windows 7/8/8.1/10) and restore 40 default characters to their appropriate location. The program is also able to open, edit, and speak a variety of formats, including HTML, RTF, DOC, DOCX, TXT, and XML.
Claude offers two different modes for operation, with MSAgent enabled or disabled. To switch to the second mode, simply uncheck the box that reads "Use MSAgent." Finally, for users who would like to install their own MSAgent Characters, Claude allows you to easily copy *.acs files to a designated folder located at 'C:\Windows\MSAgent\chars.' Overall, I was impressed with the functionality and convenience that Claude offers users who wish to preserve MS Agent technology.
