CODE is a fun and engaging game that allows you to take on the role of a Codebreaker on a mission to break the Codemakers codes and become the Codemaster. The game utilizes a Decoding Board, which is a 6 x 6 grid on which you can input codes using the Decoding Palette located below it.
By clicking on the GO!-button, you activate the Key Verifier, which is a small 6 x 6 grid that displays black, red, and white indicators as feedback for the code entered on the Decoding Board. To introduce an element of surprise, you can use the Shake Gesture feature to generate a random code on the Decoding Board.
The Key Verifier provides feedback in the form of indicators as follows: Black indicates a wrong color, red signifies the right color in the right position, while white denotes that the right color is present, but in the wrong position. The game comes with 500 unique codes specially crafted by the Codemaker for you to decode, with five difficulty levels each containing 100 codes.
You begin at the first level with the first code and work your way up from there. Every correct attempt is rewarded with 100 points, but if you fail, you lose a point for every wrong move. However, the minimum number of points for each code is one point, which keeps you motivated to keep playing and improving your skills.
