Barcodesoft Code 128 Premium Package facilitates printing of Code 128 barcodes using desktop printers. It encodes ASCII data, and comes with 28 fonts, a crystal reports UFL DLL, and a GUI encoder.

Code 128A is used to encode uppercase alpha and control characters, Code 128B is used to encode both uppercase and lowercase alpha and numeric data, while Code 128C is used to encode numeric-only data. The software has numerous variations, including EAN 128 and ISBT 128.
When I discovered that Code 128 is mandatory for printing barcode labels of Confirmation Services since 2004, I knew that this software was ideal for my barcode printing tasks. I found that USS Code128 also uses subset C to print barcode and that Barcodesoft Keyboard Wedge Emulation program and a USB scanner allowed me to emulate any special character input into my system.
One important feature of Code 128 is that a check digit is always required, and when I used Barcodesoft Code128 font to print barcodes, I just had to use their Encoder to calculate the checksum. I also took advantage of the source code in VBA and C language for checksum calculation of different subsets of Code 128: Code128A, Code128B, Code128C, and UCC / EAN-128.
The package includes 28 code128 barcode fonts marked by different trailing indicators, with 7 different aspect ratios. The code128 fonts with "Hr" in their names have human-readable text printed underneath code128 barcode, which made it easy for me to read the codes on my labels. I also recommend the crystal reports UFL DLL and a GUI encoder included in the package.
Lastly, the sample in the package helped me integrate bar-coded code128 data with my own application easily. I was glad to know that Barcodesoft code 128 Premium Packages include a 30-day money-back guarantee, which gave me peace of mind. Overall, I'm impressed by Code 128 and recommend it to others dealing with barcode printing requirements.
