+CodeInspector

CodeInspector is a software that utilizes a specific method of receiving source codes and algorithms of checking for each file type. Its features include a check for PRG files that allows the use of variables, declared in the basic procedure or function, by internal procedures, or the functions caused by the basic procedure. For methods of forms and classes, the program uses an algorithm that requires any variables used in a body of methods to be declared before their use.

For the entire project, CodeInspector has a feature that allows users to specify the full list of global variables that can be used anywhere in the program code without being considered an error. The software is flexible and convenient to use because it allows users to apply special preferences for solving difficult situations.

CodeInspector is comprised of two parts - the module for working with CI-Projects and the Quick scan module. The Quick scan module allows users to check forms and classes opened for changing in the designer on the fly. Users can also scan active projects, and CodeInspector automatically defines the structure of files to check and generates a detailed report after the check.

The Project module of CodeInspector allows users to create several +CodeInspector-projects, specify their data-sources, and configure the scan settings for them once. This feature is useful for those who have several projects and/or separate VFP files that need scanning from day to day to keep them clear from errors. With this feature, users can perform a check in several clicks anytime they need, making the process quick and easy.
