CoOrdinator is an AutoCAD Utility for importing and exporting coordinate data. Besides importing and exporting the data with any ASCII format, it allows you to cut and paste data from Excel and place it as points, polylines, or block/symbol.
Once you have all your data, you have the option to place it within AutoCAD as points, polylines, or even a block/symbol. You can also export data from AutoCAD attributes or text values. CoOrdinator also allows you to apply a constant or offset to your ASCII data, define your own data delimiters, and even define your own line delimiters.
If you need to import multiple coordinate strings into AutoCAD, you can do this by using a code or line number/point number. You can also choose to show non-coordinate ASCII data as text or attributes in AutoCAD. By simply pointing and clicking, you can exclude any number of header lines. You can even place a table of coordinates on your AutoCAD drawing with ease.
To make your work even more productive, CoOrdinator lets you save and retrieve previously used input configurations. It also allows you to plot data as scalable rectangles or circles based on data in the input file. Finally, you can import data by specifying data ranges within the data file.
With all these features, it’s clear that CoOrdinator is a must-have software utility for anyone who wants to work efficiently with data in AutoCAD.
