CopyFolder 1.8 is a backup software that duplicates files in their native format, enabling users to access the files without the software. It incorporates filters to refine the backup files.

This software provides several options for copying folder contents, such as filtering subfolders by paths, names, or patterns, and including or excluding their subfolders. Users can filter file names by patterns, paths, dates, sizes, attributes, and typos. It also offers overwriting and disposing options, including file versions. Text files can be compared with an external program to verify accuracy, and users can run a comparison after copying to ensure correct duplication.
CopyFolder can detect files that may have been moved or renamed, delete destination files not in the source folder, and copy a folder tree without files. Profiles can be created and defined for multiple settings, and it uses an adaptive memory area for quick copying of large files. Under certain circumstances, the software can copy file-security settings.
Windows users can use CopyFolder if they have Windows 98 or NT 4.0 or later. Copying file-security settings will require Windows XP or NT 4.0, as well as administrator privileges. This shareware program does not contain spyware or adware.
The trial period is 15 days-of-use, or 30 copy-operations within 60 days, and the initial fee is $9.99. Users can upgrade for $5 or pay a one-time fee of $19.99 to get all upgrades included. The software was released on January 10, 2017.
