If you're in need of a solution that can identify and delete or move files that are older than a certain number of days, look no further than Delenda. This software is equipped to search for files based on their creation, modification, and last accessed date. Once located, you can delete the files outright, move them to an archive folder, or delete them and send them to the Recycle Bin. Additionally, you can choose to replicate folder structures when moving files and leave a shortcut in the source folder for reference.

There are three different methods for deletion or moving tasks, so you can customize the process to fit your needs. In addition to its capabilities to dispatch files and monitor the number of files in each structure, you can also define a daily purge time and exclude specific days of the week.

With Delenda, you can suppress files in one directory and transfer those that are more than 12 hours old to another directory. Any documents that have not been accessed in the past three months can be moved to an archive folder on the same disk or a network drive. Once you've set up the software, it will continue to do the work for you automatically. It can also remove the contents of sub-folders and read-only files.

You can activate a log file to report the list log of deleted or transferred file names. Additionally, there is an option to delete all files of a folder only if all the files are obsolete, meaning that no files are deleted if there exists a file of the folder which is not obsolete. Delenda can also be used as a Windows NT or 2000 or Windows XP service or in command-line mode for cleaning via batch processing for auto elimination or archiving of outdated logs. Finally, the software can also process Macintosh files stored on Windows NT / 2000 / XP / 2003 file server.
