ePhotoDBase software aims to manage the complete process of acquiring, organizing and archiving photos. It offers a centralized solution for all the tasks.
The ePhotoDBase software offers users 5 tools in 1, including a speedy digital image browser and organizer with a powerful JPEG view and thumbnails view. The software also includes handy copy/move functions and EXIF/IPTC functionality for comments and keywords. Users can take advantage of a range of facilities, such as a screen saver, automatic wallpaper creation and installation, and a copy/paste feature from the clipboard. There is also a TWain interface for scanners and the option to switch between English and French. More languages, including German, Italian, and Spanish, are being added.
In addition to these features, ePhotoDBase also includes a MySQL archiver which allows users to archive all their CDs in the popular MySQL database. This makes it easy to manage thousands of images and assign keywords to them. Users can find images quickly and easily by searching for keywords and display them with screen resolution quality. Another useful tool the software offers is the ability to create web pages directly from the images in the database. Users can share their images with the web page generator and create standard HTML or PHP web pages. HTML/PHP templates will be available soon.
The ePhotoDBase software also includes an image converter, allowing users to make transformations such as resizing, rotating, symmetry, and cropping with a 3/2 ratio assistant. Images can also be converted to other file formats, and batch mode is available for transformations and conversions. All IPTC and EXIF information will be preserved. Users can easily send images to their favorite external editor as well.
For Canon Digicam users, ePhotoDBase offers the ability to convert RAW files from all current and future Canon Digicams. An extremely useful and powerful droplet assistant for the 16Bits linear process is also included!
