Exif2xml is a powerful, tiny W3C-compliant tool that can extract EXIF metadata from JPEG files and export data as XML files. The freeware is user-friendly and offers an easy-to-use interface.

One of the features that really stood out to me was how W3C compliant it is, making accessing this metadata unbelievably easy. The programme can read all the metadata stored in JPEG files, including GPS coordinates, making it an essential tool for anyone working with image files.
What's especially impressive is how accessible it is for non-specialists. It doesn't require any special knowledge or experience to use, and it's very user-friendly. In fact, the programme stays on top of your windows and includes a drag'n drop function. This super handy feature allows you to easily send the JPEG filename to the program with a simple click, and the EXIF metadata instantly pops up in the main panel.
To keep things nice and simple, there is only one form and two buttons. The XML button will allow you to start conversion, but it will only be visible if the input file is valid and contains EXIF metadata. If it doesn't, a message will indicate that there is no EXIF metadata in the JPEG file.
The program suggests a filename for the XML files based on the JPEG file, making everything more streamlined. For example, if the input file is named 'filename.jpg', the output file will be suggested as 'filename.xml.' However, you can choose any file name you like for the XML output. If the XML file already exists, the program will prompt you with a warning, asking if you'd like to overwrite the file.
Aside from its primary function, exif2xml can also be used to quickly see the metadata of a JPEG file without XML conversion, making it a great all-around tool for working with image files.
All in all, I highly recommend exif2xml V1.0 for anyone who needs a powerful, user-friendly, and effective way to work with EXIF metadata in JPEG files.
Version 1.0: This is the first release. However, the product is stable and do the job. It shows the EXIF metadata of JPG files and can export it to XML files.
