Fonty Python is an exceptional software that enables you to manage your fonts on Gnu/Linux. This program is a must-have for designers who need to keep track and view their fonts easily in user-friendly collections. With Fonty Python, you can conveniently assign and remove fonts to and from a 'pog', a word derived from typography, then install the pog. This will link all the fonts within the $HOME/.fonts directory. If you are done using the fonts, you can quickly remove the pog, and all the links will be eliminated. At the moment, Fonty Python is written as a mixed command-line/gui application, facilitating fast use. You can extract the "tarball" to start and change to the directory it creates. As the root user, enter the command, python setup.py install. On Ubuntu/Kubuntu/Xubuntu/etc, run sudo python setup.py install to create a program called 'fp.'.

Alternatively, move the entire extracted folder into a folder that is in your PATH like ~/bin, create a link to the fp script, and make it executable with chmod u+x fp.
