Fusion Assistant is a graphical user interface (GUI) designed for VMware command-line tools, providing a more intuitive and user-friendly way to interact with virtualization software.
The Fusion Assistant is an early release of software that is designed to provide users with an intuitive graphical user interface for VMWare command line tools. At present, this version only has one available option, which is to increase the size of an existing virtual disk image.
After increasing the size of the HD image, the partition that hosts the guest operating system must also be resized in order to accommodate the new disk size. To achieve this, users are advised to boot their guest OS with a dedicated HD live partitioner CD such as gparted live (for *nix), or Partition Logic which is free and can handle NTFS partitions.
To run the Fusion Assistant, users are required to have VMWare Fusion 1.1.1 installed on their system.
