InjuredPixels is a free open-source software that checks for dead pixels on smartphones or tablets, suitable for use both in-store and during the warranty period. No ads, internet connection or permissions required. Manufacturer's policy may entitle the user to a replacement.

InjuredPixels makes it simple to detect faulty pixels, filling your entire screen with a primary or custom color. This enables you to easily spot pixels that do not match the selected color, making it easier to determine if there are issues with the display.
The app is highly user-friendly and intuitive, with color buttons that you can easily press to change between colors, or use the volume keys to cycle through colors. If you want to hide the buttons and inspect the screen thoroughly for any defect, you can easily double-tap anywhere to hide the buttons. Double-tap again to show them.
If you need to exit the app, you can simply swipe from the top of the screen, hit the back or home button, and you'll be good to go. This makes it easy to switch back to any other apps you want to use or take care of while using InjuredPixels.
When you're testing the screen, you have the freedom to touch, tap, or swipe the display, which means that you can still clean or gently rub any area while testing, without accidentally interrupting the app or test.
The best part about InjuredPixels is that it's completely free, 100% open source, and doesn't show ads. It also requires no internet and no extra permissions to use. This guarantees that you won't be disturbed while using the app and that you can test your device without worrying about any intrusions or data leakage.
