IRC BotNET

BotNET is an IRC Botnet that facilitates communication amongst IRC bots. It functions as a channel maintenance tool by creating a network of bots that work collaboratively towards a common objective. In case of a netsplit or a bot malfunction, the Botnet remains functional, with the available bots taking over the duties of the affected bot. The Botnet is exceptionally proficient, with numerous features that are accessible through the BotNET man pages.

Notably, BotNET does not necessarily have to run as a Botnet. Instead, it can run as a typical IRC bot, which is its default setting. Additionally, when run as a Botnet, BotNET has unparalleled capabilities that surpass those of other Botnets. In Botnet mode, the BotNET bot connects to a BotNET Communication Stream Server (botserv), which facilitates communication among the different bots on the network.

In contrast to traditional Botnets, BotNET offers IRC Stand-alone bot functionality that adds to its already impressive capabilities. For example, the addition of a user to one bot's database immediately reflects in the databases of all the other bots connected to the network. This feature enables users to select any of the bots for their desired purpose, thus making BotNET the top choice for bot users.
