iVolume

iVolume is a software that allows you to easily level the volume of your iTunes songs so that they all play at the same volume. Using a special algorithm that is based on the perceived volume of human ears, iVolume is able to provide better volume control than the built-in iTunes 'Sound Check' feature.

iVolume uses an incredibly fast algorithm to quickly analyze the volume of your songs. While it might not be the most accurate, it will automatically correct any volume information that iTunes has calculated with more precise values.

Using an algorithm that is oriented towards the perception of human ears, iVolume produces a significant improvement in the 'Sound Check' function. This allows you to play your songs in random order without having to readjust the main volume each time. This is perfect for parties or for listening to your music on an iPod in shuffle mode.

iVolume works closely with iTunes. Rather than reinventing the wheel or requiring a complicated handling of files at the filesystem level, iVolume integrates with iTunes as an easy-to-use interface. Simply select the songs you want to adjust in iTunes, switch over to iVolume, and hit the 'Adjust' button to level the volume across all of your selected songs.
