Chippo has been recoded in the Java programming language.
As a successor to cHippo, JHippo has been programmed entirely in Java to offer advanced speed and stability. Although still in its alpha phase, the Hippos Development Team is dedicated to a release soon, after integrating inline scripting support and modules previously intended for cHippo.
Installation is simplified; either build and run the source with ant or run the jar file located in /dist/. For those interested in contributing, joining the development team, or simply offering assistance, visit us on IRC at irc.freenode.net/8001, #cHippo.
