JLdapAB is a useful tool for managing Mozilla-based LDAP address books through a convenient web application. With JLdapAB, Mozilla address books can easily be shared between multiple computers.
The installation process is straightforward. To get started with ZXID, simply compile the library and examples and install one of the examples as a CGI script in an existing web server. Unpack the installation package using the following command:
tar xvzf zxid-0.1.tgz
Then, navigate to the directory using this command:
cd zxid-0.1
It's important to note that there is no configure script required. The Makefile works for all supported platforms as is. Run the following command next:
make
Afterwards, copy zxid.x to the root directory with the following command:
cp zxid.x /
Finally, configure your web server to recognize the ".x" file extension as CGI or rename zxid.x to zxid.cgi. Point your browser to the appropriate URL, and you're all set to use JLdapAB's software effortlessly.
