JOpt.SDK is a software developer's kit designed for complementary software partners. With this project, you can easily access the route optimization capabilities of the DNA JOpt product family and integrate them into your own applications. The JOpt.SDK includes all the necessary optimization functionality and provides an API for you or your programmers to use.
Unlike JOpt.WEB or JOpt.Personal, JOpt.SDK is focused on optimization functions as a service. It does not provide user interfaces, databases, distance matrices, or application-specific optimization tunings. These extensions and adjustments are supposed to be introduced by the users of the SDK while integrating it into their application. The SDK allows for many suitable adjustments through a reasonable set of functions, enabling any programmer to design and control their own optimization processes.
The JOpt.SDK demo version is an excellent way to test the SDK's offered functions and to get familiar with using it. With the demo version, you can utilize a set of restricted resources and nodes (12 in total) to gain an overview of all available functions. Although the problem space is limited, the basic ideas of how to use the SDK and what can be done with it will become apparent to you.
We would like to encourage you to modify the examples, try several configurations, and observe the changes in the results. This will give you a deeper understanding of how the SDK and optimization algorithm work.
