If you enter the wrong password, a short notification will appear in the Messages box. This is due to a bug in distribution packages. Therefore, we recommend users to do a comprehensive test before using this encryption utility.
In the latest release, K-EncFS starts automatically, if it's left on the system tray. Also, it allows the user to mount encrypted file systems during KDE startup to restore their works in the encrypted file system. However, it requires editing the startkde script.
