Lapbubbles is a SuperKaramba theme designed for monitoring systems.
I admit I didn't include proper commenting or a nice tarball, but I did my best to make the theme easy to edit and navigate. Links may break, so be prepared to make some necessary changes. It's essential to note that the current version is not complete and may have some bugs or glitches. However, it's easy to edit and familiarize oneself with the intuitive user interface.
No Python is necessary to operate the software, and a few basic scripting tools are all that's required to understand the functionality of the software. Currently, the software can manage a lot of sensors while consuming only 2-7% of my CPU power. The theme file can be used to modify various settings, and support can be found on the official website if you encounter any issues.
Several changes have been made from the previous release of ubermon. Default font, groups, and other aspects of the system are showcased for easy access. The software features a range of tools, including user, kernel, KDE, and uptime monitors. Additionally, the software can manage popular media players such as XMMS and provide information on speed, temperature, and loading among other things. The top threads feature allows users to monitor system threads efficiently.
RAM, Swap, Partitions, Conn, Wlan, Ip, Up, Down, and Mail remain as per usual. However, I didn't find any suitable software for maildir, so I ended up using maildirtree, which works pretty well for me. A mysql backend powers the birthdays feature, but it's effortless to replace it with whatever you prefer.
In conclusion, this is a pre-release version, but it may become helpful to others. The software is simple to use and provides users with essential tools for monitoring their system specifications. Despite not being updated, the software remains functional and robust.
