Library Statistics

The Library Statistics extension is a fantastic addition to Songbird that provides a new tab packed with insightful information about your music library. With this extension, you can select a value for each of the following parameters: The subject you want to obtain information about (be it genre, artist, album or single track), the specific order by which information is displayed (including played count, skipped count, last played, rating, number of tracks, and time length), as well as the direction of order (ascending or descending) and the number of records you'd like shown in the results.

This extension groups the values from each individual track according to the type of information provided. These categories include played count (sum), skipped count (sum), last played (min), rating (mean, but only for rated tracks), number of tracks (sum), and time length (sum).

While this extension is already incredibly useful, it also lets users configure the add-on settings to exclude certain albums from the statistics tab- like live albums or greatest hits compilations. Users can also add playlists to the "group by" subject for even more organized and detailed statistics. Overall, this extension is a must-have for Songbird users who are interested in understanding their music library's data in a more comprehensive way.
