Lich is an innovative scripting engine that is compatible with text-based MUDs. Although it isn't a standalone frontend, it operates like a proxy server and connects with the user via their preferred frontend, giving a polished look to the frontend's capabilities with its programming.

Incorporated within Lich, you'll discover a modified version of the Ruby interpreter, which proposes the ability to create and execute scripts using the Ruby language. But why Ruby? One reason is that Ruby is a language that adapts to you, as opposed to other languages that demand you to adapt to them. Ruby possesses an elegant independence that abstracts programming's mundane details, making it conducive to utilizing its features without worrying about cloistered details.

There are tremendous benefits to Ruby that I appreciate, such as its extensible design, which can make creating programs enjoyable.
