Mixmaster

Mixmaster is an anonymous remailer that offers protection against traffic analysis and allows sending emails anonymously or pseudonymously. It is the most popular implementation of the type II remailer protocol. The software is designed to run on several operating systems such as *BSD, Linux, and Microsoft Windows. It consists of both client and server installations. The 2.9.x versions are the stable ones and widely deployed, while the 3.0beta* releases are the betas for the upcoming Mixmaster 3.0.

Mixmaster's 2.0.4 stable release includes a few updates such as preferring pubring.asc over secring.pgp, supporting an unpublished dest.alw file, adding MINLAT directive, improving OpenSSL version checking in the Install script, adding full stats download support, and fixing a buffer overflow bug in keymgt.c.
