MUES

The MUES project is an online gaming environment server created in Ruby, featuring multiple threads and event-based programming. This software is designed to ease the creation of online multiplayer games and simulations, providing various useful services for in-game systems, dynamically programmed object environments or "worlds", and an event system facilitating interaction between these parts. The MUES design does not assume any particular environment, making it highly flexible with little pre-existing game code.

While the distribution currently does not include code for useful game services like linguistics or physics, the developers plan on including them in future updates. However, contributions from the community in these areas are always appreciated.

In the latest release, several minor changes have been made to the software. For instance, the LoginSession feature has been removed, and the version constants have been updated to Subversion style. The keywords property has also been updated multiple times. Finally, the software has been converted to PluginFactory, and logging has been made more informative on shutdown.

All in all, the MUES project represents a powerful and flexible tool for online gaming environments that is sure to be a valuable addition to any game developer's toolkit.
