NOV User Interface for .NET

I recently tried out Nevron Open Vision (NOV) and was blown away by its comprehensive set of cross-platform User Interface elements. These widgets can replace platform-specific controls, making it possible to develop a presentation layer that is not tied to a specific runtime, look-and-feel, or API.

NOV has an innovative UI toolbox built on the NOV Document Object Model (DOM). This ensures that the toolkit employs the most up-to-date standards and technologies that the W3C (World Wide Web Consortium) has to offer, while extending them with technologies that go beyond the scope of the W3C's standards. This makes NOV the only GUI toolkit that is based on a Web 2.0 technology, which doesn't require a browser, and can run inside many .NET-based runtimes and presentation layers.

NOV currently includes several UI Widgets such as Ribbon UI, Buttons, Color Pickers, Command Bars, Containers, Context Popups, Drop Down Edits, Layout Panels, Range-Based Widgets, Text Visualization and Editing, Tree View, List Box, NOV Top-Level Windows, Text Widgets, Themes, and Miscellaneous UI features.

The platform also comes with several features usable with all widget types, including Borders, Commanding, Tooltips, Cursors, Clipboard, and Drag and Drop. Borders feature an implementation of the W3C Border specification, which goes beyond the typical standard to include numerous other enhancements. Commanding provides an extensive framework for implementing diverse commanding logic in enterprise applications. Tooltips offer virtualized support for tooltips along with many advanced features. Cursors offer virtualized support for cursors, and clipboard support offers virtualized clipboard functionality. With Drag and Drop, the NOV framework offers virtualized support to facilitate drag and drop usability.

Overall, NOV is an excellent GUI toolkit that is efficient, user-friendly, and feature-rich. It provides numerous tools and features that can benefit all kinds of developers, from beginners to experts.
