In this software review, I will be discussing a game that takes place in the year 2169, where the world is dominated by computer machines and pollution has led to a worrying decline in the birthrate. As a result, humans are struggling to find safe places to live. However, the game presents a solution in the form of New Jam York, a big city built by the esteemed scientist Professor Setag in a bid to create a safe haven for the remaining inhabitants of the world.
Although the city was created to protect humans, over time Setag became obsessed with his vision of a world dominated by machines. He even went so far as to implant mechanical enhancements into his own body, turning himself into a no-feelings robot. Now, Setag has decided that it is time for his machines to rise up against their human masters and become the dominant force in the world.
To achieve this, Setag implanted a virus into all the electronic devices he created. Recently, this virus was activated, causing the machines to capture all the humans living in New Jam York and the surrounding areas. However, there is hope for humanity in the form of Nuts and Scrap, two robots created by a small independent factory that has not been infected by the virus.
To defeat Professor Setag and his machines, Nuts and Scrap must use their unique abilities and rely on the aid of the main computer in the factory. It will be a tough battle, but they are humanity’s only hope for survival. Overall, this game presents an interesting and thought-provoking storyline that will keep you engaged for hours.
