ObjectCreator Lite

ObjectCreator Lite is a UML CASE tool that offers users a range of features such as fully scriptable python, expandable UML metamodel, and scriptable code generation. The tool ensures that class diagrams, reports, and source code are all synchronized with the software model, thereby speeding up the development time. Users can generate and keep source code for multiple languages in sync with their project. Additionally, users can type their operations code directly between the generated code, and create custom scripts to generate code in any language.

ObjectCreator Lite uses UML semantic to describe software, databases, XML files, business relationships, and more. Users can also use UML rules to verify their designs, and create their own rules to validate designs during the entire development cycle. The tool also allows users to reverse their existing source code to UML semantics, while keeping the operations code and creating associations. Should users modify their source code with external applications such as XCode or CodeWarrior, ObjectCreator Lite ensures that the model stays synchronized.

ObjectCreator Lite's key features include a fully scriptable python, UML repository, UML 1.5 semantic, expandable UML metamodel, dynamic and scriptable code generation, Objective-C/C++/Java/Python/MySQL code generation, Objective-C reverse engineer and round-trip, XMI import/export, UML Business Modeling, and a tool to draw UML class diagrams.

The only limitation of ObjectCreator Lite is that projects are limited to 12 elements (operations, and attributes don't count). However, the latest release includes a range of new features such as automatic round trip for Objective-C, Objective-C Cocoa profile with code generation for init, dealloc, NSCoding, NSCopying, multiple inheritance, attributes, and associations access operations. The release also includes tutorials on round trip feature use and code generation, non-centered segment addition, and a diagram that adds name and stereotype text for the association and stereotypes for association ends.
