Oxygen-Refit 2

I recently tried out Oxygen-Refit 2 - White Version, a fantastic modification of the Oxygen-Refit2 icon set originally released by nanolx.org. While the original set featured blue icons in a KDE style, this version consists of 100% red icons and features some slight alterations to the original designs. What's even better is that all of the icons in this set are released under the LGPL3 open source license.

For those who may be unfamiliar with GNOME, it's an international effort to create a complete desktop environment entirely from free software. This includes developing software development frameworks, selecting desktop applications, and working on programs that handle application launching, file handling, window management, and more. GNOME is part of the GNU Project and can be used with various Unix-like operating systems, most notably Linux.

What sets GNOME apart is its strong focus on simplicity, usability, and making things "just work." The name was originally an acronym for GNU Network Object Model Environment, but this has been deprecated. If you're looking for a reliable, user-friendly desktop environment that values open source principles, GNOME is definitely worth checking out.
