AXMEDIS

This software is a PDA player/organizer that supports AXMEDIS/MPEG-21 cross media content. It allows users to play AXMEDIS content with any kind of multimedia format including MPEG-4, HTML, and SMIL. Demo content is available and it has been developed for Windows Mobile 5 and 6.

The AXMEDIS P2P client is a simple bittorrent software that connects to a network of cross media content and tools. The platform hosts audio, video, animations, and tools from several partners such as BBC, VRS, AFI, TISCALI, GIUNTI, and XIM.

AXMEDIS offers a suite of tools for content production including the AXMEDIS editor, GRID AXCP tools, PnP, DRM editor, and more. These tools enable the creation of AXMEDIS objects and automatic or manual processing of various types of content such as SMIl, HTML, content adaptation, fingerprint, and crawling.

The installer offers two players for AXMEDIS MPEG-21 Cross-media Contents.
