Use Sage Data Objects for Java to connect Sage Line 50 with Java easily. Incorporate EZJCom's Java-COM bridge to enable seamless integration.
Sage, accounting software with a large user base of over 5.5 million users, can now be integrated with Java thanks to Sage Data Objects for Java. Previously, there was no bridge between the two communities. But now with Sage Data Objects and the Java-COM Bridge "EZ-JCom," it's possible to connect the two.
To get started, you'll need to download and install SageDataObjects library and unzip the SageForJava Library. After that, you can select the version of Sage you want to connect to (e.g., version 14) and copy the File, JSDOENG140.DLL from the SDOENG140Java Folder and place it in your Windows\System32 Folder.
Once you've completed the setup, you can create your Java application using your preferred IDE. Add a reference to the JAR file for the selected version of Sage (e.g., JSDOENG140.JAR). With JCreator, you can press Project > Project Settings > Required Libraries > New > Add > Add Archive to do this.
Coding to connect to Sage and display customer data is straightforward with the code available as part of the Java SDO download. Simply connect to Sage, and list all current customers on the screen.
