Firefox addon that creates temporary email addresses.
The plugin is highly customizable, allowing you to create a prefix for all the email addresses it generates. Once installed, simply right-click any text field on any website and paste a free, one-time email address from Spamavert.com. The disposable address is created in seconds, providing peace of mind that your real email won't be used for unwelcome purposes.
Spamavert even opens the spamavert.com mailbox and waits for new emails for the address it generated for you, offering an extra layer of security. Plus, new to this version, the plugin remembers the addresses it's generated in the past and automatically subscribes to their RSS feeds.
You can always go back and view the emails received for each address, checking if any companies have abused the email address given to them during registration.
The Spamavert addon is easy to use on Mac OS X, Windows, and Linux. It's a reliable solution for anyone who wants to protect their privacy when signing up for unknown or untrusted websites.
