Splashy-TC is a software that enables users to modify and install new Splashy themes to personalize the splash screen. It is a user-friendly tool for customizing the screen of Linux booting with ease.

It enables the seamless installation of Splashy themes from tar-archives, theme switching, and also provides the option of re-generating the initramfs.
For Splashy-TC to work effectively, users are required to have gksu installed, which provides root authentication. Additionally, the software tool is compatible with various software applications, including GTK+ version 2.10.x and Splashy, amongst others. With the installation process, users are required to run "/configure" to check dependencies, use (sudo/su -c) make install to install the tool, and then run (any sudotool) splashy-tc or navigate to Menu -> Accessories -> Splashy-TC.
The latest release of Splashy-TC includes one notable feature, an option for enabling or disabling early bootsplash. Users must be mindful that if they opt to change this feature, they have to rebuild their initramfs.
