SWF Cargo Pro

SWF Cargo is a powerful software tool that allows users to convert their Macromedia Flash content into Desktop Applications without having to learn complicated programming languages like Basic, C, and C++. This software uses Flash as the GUI interface, which speeds up the application development process. SWF Cargo comes in two versions: Standard Version for Windows and Macintosh, and Pro Version for Macintosh.

The Standard Version of SWF Cargo produces Projectors for their respective platforms - Windows and Macintosh. On the other hand, the Pro Version allows users to create Projectors for both Macintosh and Windows. The SWF Cargo Pro comes packed with features such as the ability to customize the look of windows in the Projector, multiple window support, and Flash 9 Player compatibility. This version of the software also allows for synchronous communication between the Projectors and the Operating System.

Additionally, SWF Cargo Pro enables users to add over 150 ActionScript commands to communicate with the Operating System using the SWF Cargo ActionScript API. Users can also create Trial Projectors that will expire after a specified date, and save project files to make changes to an existing application over time. Moreover, SWF Cargo Pro allows users to make an unlimited number of Desktop Applications.

SWF Cargo Pro requires a Power PC or Intel based Macintosh (400 MHz G3 or faster recommended), Mac OSX 10.2 or higher, 64 MB of RAM (128 MB recommended), and at least 50 MB of available hard disk space. To create custom scripts using the SWF Cargo ActionScript API, Adobe/Macromedia Flash 8 is required.

However, one limitation is that the software adds a watermark to the output in both the Standard and Pro versions. Overall, SWF Cargo helps to simplify the process of converting Macromedia Flash content into Desktop Applications, making it an extremely useful software tool.
