From an activity standpoint, the TestPlan tool offers various functionalities which are essential for testing purposes, such as uploading and downloading files via the web, sending text, HTML and multipart email, receiving substantial volumes of email to distinct email addresses, following email links onto web pages to fill out forms, FTP export and import of data, secure web access, asynchronous and synchronous SOAP messaging, automatic data generation, availability monitoring, customization, and custom script checking.
