Wbar was designed to optimize for speed and its goal is to provide an eye-candy experience for its users while running as fast as possible. Developed in C++, it boasts the motivation of providing an eye-candy experience while still being faster than its competitors.
I am pleased to state that Wbar has been thoroughly tested on Fluxbox and WindowMaker and is working correctly. It can be tailored to work with other window managers, but if you typically use a desktop application like nautilus, it might not work appropriately because Wbar is designed to run with override-redirection to ensure the window manager does not interfere, and it stays at the bottom of the root window.
Wbar's installation process is simple but requires imlib2 to start, make sure you have that installed. You will also need to create an initial configuration for the user, and it is recommended to create a configuration using each user account. Additionally, you can make a configuration for root if you don't have a bin directory at home.
