WMSETI is a dockapp designed for monitoring and controlling up to 10 SETI@home processes. This software boasts of various features including the ability to display statistics and control operations such as pausing, continuing, killing or running the program.

Depending on your preference, WMSETI can be compiled with or without graphics of alien faces to indicate the workunit's progress. The progress bar changes colour from green for running, yellow for paused and red when not running.

With regards to statistics for display, this software is capable of displaying the directory of the SETI program, workunit progress as a percentage, time spent on the workunit, time left before completion, number of workunits sent and received, client PID, a graphic bar indicating progress and total CPU time contributed to SETI@home.

Users have a range of controls available to them including changing between SETI@home directories through left-clicking, running, killing, pausing or continuing the SETI@home client by middle-clicking or right-clicking, and changing to info text or alien by clicking on the top-left quarter. Progress bars can be turned on or off by clicking on the bottom-left quarter of the alien while scrolling the mouse wheel up or down changes to the next or previous directory.
