A-Block protects user's data from viruses, disk scanners and cyber-criminals through targeted security measures. The program is designed to safeguard confidential information from unauthorized access via local networks and the internet.
Tests have confirmed that A-Block is effective in denying access to protected files by criminals, viruses, or disk scanners using the functions of the operating system. When special software is used, A-Block triggers a crash in the operating system requiring a reset. However, files remain protected.
The unique algorithm of protection developed by the team ensures that A-Block is secure and cannot delete or damage the data it protects. In performing its operations, it carries out the following functions:
1. Blocks access to files specified by the user
2. Blocks access to the computer when the user is not present
3. Monitors internet connectivity and manages file protection based on specific situations
Key features of A-Block include its safe and highly-effective algorithm of protection, independent protection management for each protected object in two clicks, a user-friendly interface that enables even inexperienced users to protect their data effectively, and support for all 32 and 64-bit Microsoft Windows operating systems such as Windows 98SE/Me/NT/2000/XP/2003.
A-Block also supports FAT, FAT16, FAT32, NTFS, and CDFS file systems, providing data protection from unauthorized actions such as reading, copying, moving/renaming, modifying content, and deleting files.
