CipherWall Safe is secure remote storage software that allows you to easily encrypt and upload confidential data to a remote storage location, while completely erasing any trace of the documents on the sending computer.
To access the program, users require a unique asymmetric key, which eliminates any possibility of password discovery through a trial-and-error method. All encryption operations are performed on the sending computer, and data is transferred to the server via an encrypted channel to ensure maximum security. Moreover, access to the CipherWall Safe server is blocked for unauthorized personnel.
Users can register on a free demo server using this client program or visit www.cipherwall.com to download the server distributive. The software's key features include a 3-step X.509 authorization, RSA with keys length up to 4096 bits, and traffic encryption with randomly chosen algorithms.
Files and folders names are also encrypted, and HMAC based on SHA256, PKCS 5.2 based on HMAC -SHA512 with 2000 iterations, and a powerful random number generator support additional "corporate" keys.
CipherWall Safe also uses DoD5220.22 -M and Peter Gutmann's algorithms for data wiping, including wiping of NTFS streams. Finally, the software is open-source, providing users with maximum transparency and security.
