DBScroll is an improved version of DBGrid with added features and source code included. It serves as a replacement for the original component.
Compared to the DBGrid, DBScroll boasts many advantages. It is fast and flicker-free and can display multiple lines per row. Additionally, it allows row height and column width modifications by mouse, shows the contents of memo database fields, and fully supports the ScrollBar for Paradox tables. With DBScroll, tables can even be resorted by a single mouse click in the column Header.
Of immense importance to users is the ability to customize tools as required. So, in addition to displaying all colors (even those in 256 color modes), it allows the display of individual rows/cells by specific colors. Additionally, it has better support for Drag & Drop and incorporates the Sel(ection)Field showing the text of the currently selected cell or row, precisely like a status line.
DBScroll has an inbuilt SearchBox for incremental search, allowing users to perform searches with ease. Notably, users can also define margins for the cells, customize the mouse events(OnClick, OnMouseDown, OnMouseMove, OnMouseUp), with all events available and published for ease of use.
In summary, DBScroll is a whole package of reliability, compatibility, and user-friendliness. Its incredible speed and flicker-free response make it ideal for any user looking for an outstanding database management software.
