fSekrit lets you access and modify encrypted notes using small software files that are self-contained. It's portable and doesn't require any installation, making it perfect for running from a USB drive.
With traditional encryption tools, one had to decrypt their file to a disk, view or edit it, and then re-encrypt it. This process could expose un-encrypted data to others if not done properly. With fSekrit, this issue is resolved, as it never stores un-encrypted data on disk. The application uses the strong 256-bit AES / Rijndael in CBC mode encryption technique, ensuring user data's safekeeping.
Furthermore, the self-contained fSekrit notefiles are incredibly tiny, measuring only 40k plus the size of the user's text. Overall, fSekrit provides users with a secure and straightforward encrypted note-taking solution.
